This is Classic Nia.

This class is designed for anyone seeking a lively movement class with simple to follow moves that leave you feeling vital and happy. 

It is also particularly effective for  those starting or getting back to movement/exercise.

Class is taught with an emphasis on breath, balance, and awareness of the whole self. 

* Easily adapted to your fitness level

*Enjoy dancing barefoot or feel free to wear indoor shoes if your feet need the extra support.

*Come in comfortable, layered clothing. Please bring a water bottle.

*Please respect a fragrance-free environment.

Nia Moving to Heal classes are for everyBODY looking for a gentler way to keep moving while developing balance, strength and mobility. Enjoy music and easy-to-follow choreography in a supportive atmosphere of safety and trust. Personalize movements to fit your body’s way, while focusing on pleasure, resulting in improved overall feelings of wellness, regardless of current physical/medical condition. Classes are designed to meet the needs of those diagnosed with long-term or chronic illness, mobility limitations as well as individuals with short-term personal healing goals for body, mind and emotions. Nia Moving to Heal can be done standing, sitting in a chair, or some combination of both.  Beginners are welcome.
