What a fun way to be active.
I’m a certified blue belt Nia teacher in Seattle, WA and hold a PhD in Public Health from the University of Washington.
From my very first moments of Nia, I was gripped by feelings of exhilaration, freedom, and joy. I was overwhelmed by how connected I felt to the movement. After much support and encouragement, I completed the White Belt training in March, 2012 with Jill Pagano and the Blue Belt training in 2013 with Britta von Tagen.
During my doctorate training in Public Health, I learned that the evidence is overwhelming–moving your body is healthy! Nia is a glorious gateway to finding joy and healing by moving your body’s way.
I offer group classes and private sessions for small groups.
