Moving in your natural time and your body's way, Nia is designed to suit whatever fitness level you are. Beginners welcome. Come dance, punch, bend and sway to a variety of music in a fun class that let's your warm up before you get moving, then cools you down before stepping out for the rest of your day.

Come a few minutes early. Class starts right at 9 am. Bring a yoga mat for floor play if you want.

Moving To Heal Nia classes are designed to support people dealing with a wide range of issues from addiction recovery, insury, trauma, grief, and short-term to long-term illness. It is also a great introduction to Nia for beginners. Learn to listen to one's own body rhythms and become more attentive to comfort as a way to harness the body's natural power to self-heal. Wear comfortable, loose clothing.

Nia Moving to Heal

Nia Moving to Heal classes are for everyBODY looking for a gentler way to keep moving while developing balance, strength and mobility. Enjoy music and easy-to-follow choreography in a supportive atmosphere of safety and trust. Personalize movements to fit your body’s way, while focusing on pleasure, resulting in improved overall feelings of wellness, regardless of current physical/medical condition. Classes are designed to meet the needs of those diagnosed with long-term or chronic illness, mobility limitations as well as individuals with short-term personal healing goals for body, mind and emotions. Nia Moving to Heal can be done standing, sitting in a chair, or some combination of both.  Beginners are welcome.
